FAMILY ADVENTURES IN POTTERY & PLANTS
FRIDAY, MARCH 18, 5:30-7PM
INTENDED FOR 6+
If your kids enjoy plants, gardening, or nature, then make sure to attend this KidsQuest event! For this family adventure event, you will slip, score, and coil your way to completing your very own terracotta pot. You will also learn about native wildflowers while creating your own “garden in a glove” using native seeds. Absolutely no experience or green thumb is needed for this planting event! Bring home a piece of nature in your glazed and fired handmade pottery. This event is intended for children 5 years and older.

AN ADULT EVENT IN APRIL!
PYSANKY & PROSECCO: AN ADULT EVENT
THURSDAY, APRIL 7, 5:30-7PM
It’s time for the adults to get together and have a night filled with fun and creativity. Learn about the traditional Ukrainian form of dying eggs and create colorful keepsakes while sipping on some Prosecco with friends. All attendees must be 21 years or older.

PYSANKY EGG WORKSHOP

INTENDED FOR 7+
Pysanky is an ancient and beautiful form of folk art from Ukraine. These eggs are decorated with intricate images and designs using beeswax and dyes resulting in an artful keepsake typically given to family members or friends. At this event, you can learn the art of Pysanky and create your own beautiful keepsake at one of our workshops. This is an amazing annual family tradition that you don’t want to miss out on! This is intended for ages 7 and up and will make for a great memory to look back on.

During the exciting week of Monday, April 11th through Thursday, April 14th, experience the wonder and magic of tinkering! Have your children come and tinker with toys and tech led by our fabulous and wonderful educators. Visit this event at two speical times: 10:30-11:30am and 2:30-3:30pm, which are both for free! This springtime event is featured among the April Camptivities selection and will surely give your day at the museum a boost!!

TINKERING WITH TOYS

Jump full into this fun event as kids explore how to play with classic toys in a whole new way. See how toys work from the inside out as we tinker and play around with tech and design. During this interactive tinkering session, you will get the chance to design with Barbie, draw with OzoBots, and paint with Slinkies. It’s fun for the whole family, as you will be able to play and tinker with classic toys from the ‘50s, to modern day toys featured now. If you enjoy crafts and flowers you must come to this event to create your very own epoxy resin masterpiece! Choose from a buffet of flowers, glitter, and other enhancements to help create a stunning epoxy resin piece. While creating your beautiful piece, you will mix, pour, and learn about the science behind all the processes behind your creation. This event will get you into the crafting and creative spirit and you will get to take home TWO of your original pieces that you have specially made. These epoxy resins pieces are the perfect springtime gift just in time for Mother’s Day! Your mom will absolutely love your original artwork and everyone will be so proud of what you’ve created. This event is perfect to get you ready to kick things off for summer! Please join the museum in this Resin & Rose adult event where you can sip on some rosé and create beautiful floral art with resin. You will be able to choose from a buffet of flowers, glitters, and other great enhancements to create your own special epoxy resin masterpiece. During the process you will be learning the science behind all your creativity as you mix and pour. The best part is, you get to take TWO of your original pieces of artwork home with you! You must be 21 years old or older to participate in this event filled with great Rose as you work on intricate resin designs. The creative freedom is all up to you and you get to have so much fun while doing it! Bring your friends and join us for this special Friday full of floral crafting fun!

FAMILY EVENT IN JUNE!
TEDDY BEAR ADVENTURES
Saturday, June 4, 10am-4pm
For this event, you get to bring in your favorite Teddy Bear and explore the KidsQuest Children’s Museum in a brand new way. Come interact with real doctors and nurses who will give a check-up to your animal friend, teach you about vaccines, create a special cast for your stuffy, and suture up any injuries your fuzzy friend may have. This event is perfect for your children if they are interested in doctors and taking care of people. If your kids want to do something sweet, creative, and fun this is a great opportunity and they will learn valuable information from experienced doctors. The doctors will be onsite from 10am to 4pm. Don’t miss out on this interactive teaching event that will give your kids so much excitement. Your kids will love taking special care of their stuffed animals and meeting these incredible doctors. This is a great opportunity to spend time with the entire family and try something new!
