BELLEVUE PRESENTS THE INTERNATIONAL BALLET THEATRE

Bellevue has some truly amazing events this spring and summer season. Bellevue invites you to celebrate and enjoy the wonders of the fine arts with: The Best of IBT Gala 2022 at the International Ballet Theatre AND IBT International Ballet Academy's STARS of TOMORROW. The dance company of International Ballet Theatre dancers are proud to present this exciting showcase of talent, passion, and performance at their home stage at the Meydenbauer Theatre in Bellevue. This is a Bellevue exclusive event that honors the talent of young dancers wanting to showcase their impressive skills!

The Best of IBT Gala 2022 is an engaging compilation of dance theater that provides lovers of dance, newcomers to live theater, and families in our community the opportunity to witness the beauty of ballet and contemporary dance.
The Best of IBT Gala is a fusion of music and dance performed by some of the Pacific Northwest's most talented dancers, and a one-of-a-kind performance for lovers of dance. The Best of IBT performances will feature IBA and IBT Alumni, along with international guest stars!
This Best of IBT Gala performance boasts of beautifully costumed dancers performing a broad spectrum of dance styles. Expect to see something for everyone, plus all those unexpected magical moments that can only be felt by witnessing the physical movement of human beings, set to a musical soundtrack created by other human beings.

Dancing and bearing witness to the power of choreographed movement and emotion can be a powerful experience. Come, join us. Feel the power of life in its rawest form -- movement and sound. Bellevue is proud to be hosting this extraordinary event and invites families and friends for this beautiful performance that will surely be like no other. The performance is in two acts with one intermission and it is directed by the extremely talented Vera Altunina.

STARS OF TOMORROW - BRINGING THE ART OF DANCE TO OUR COMMUNITY:

This live theater production features the students of the International Ballet Academy, the preparatory dance academy of International Ballet Theatre, Bellevue's Premier Ballet Company. The Artistic Director for this amazing recital is Vera Altunina right here in Bellevue! The International Ballet Theatre in Bellevue is proud to present IBA's Stars of Tomorrow performance! Dancers of the International Ballet Academy take the stage to showcase their talent and the artistic expression of the academy. A beautiful spectacle that is not to be missed, this performance ends the 2021-2022 season with sensational dance numbers performed by some of Washington's best young dancers. You can watch this performance live, only in Bellevue, so don’t miss out!

SUNDAY, June 19 - 2:00pm: This performance features some of the newest dancers from IBA's Children's Program and some with a little more experience from IBA's Preparatory Program. Dancers will perform for their family, friends, and patrons in a display of youthful passion. The young dancers of IBA's Children's Program through Ballet III take the stage for the first time to shine like the stars that they are. Bellevue is so honored to showcase these extraordinary dancers and if you love dance you must watch!

The STARS of TOMORROW magic will truly affect you. You will be captivated by the soul of music and dance enriched in this event.
Audience members will bear witness to, and embrace, the magic of dance through these heartfelt performances by International Ballet Academy student dancers, and the parents of International Ballet Academy students will weep with pleasure as they see their children perform for enthusiastic crowds.Moms and Dads, IBA's annual "Stars of Tomorrow" public student recital is a great way to introduce your children to the concepts of theater, teamwork and the performance arts. International Ballet Academy is recognized internationally as a dance education faculty that creates original choreography and challenges their dancers. Through annual productions like Stars of Tomorrow, IBT for Children and IBT's seasonal performances of The Nutcracker, International Ballet Academy allows their students to exhibit the skills they invested in with their hearts and souls.
