The All-New 2022 Nissan Pathfinder

After skipping a 2021 model year, the Nissan Pathfinder is back with the all-new 2022 version! The 2022 Pathfinder returns with familiar features and new upgrades that will enhance its overall driving experience. If you were thinking of reserving a 2022 Nissan Pathfinder, look no further than Bellevue Nissan! Until it’s fully unveiled, here is what we know so far about the 2022 Pathfinder!

Exterior & Cargo Capability

The 2022 Pathfinder has its predecessor’s jelly bean shape and returned with a more muscular bodywork that resembles the 2021 Nissan Armada. Even though the Pathfinder has a squarer shape, swollen fenders, a canted C-pillar, and an imposing mug, the 2022 model has lost about 1.5 inches in overall length. LED and high-beam headlights also come standard with every Pathfinder option. As for cargo capability, the available cargo in the first (16.6 cubic feet), second (45 cubic feet), and third (80.5 cubic feet) rows have stayed relatively the same when compared to previous models. The 2022 Pathfinder is different from the rest, however, as it has the ability to seat up to 8 people now instead of only 7. This is due to the three-across third-row bench that is perfect for those who plan to pack the car with passengers.

Interior

The interior follows the exterior’s lead by swapping the model’s soft-edged designs for a tougher and blockier look. An 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system, 7-inch gauge cluster display, tri-zone automatic climate control, and Apple CarPlay/Android Auto come as standard fare in the 2022 Pathfinder. The Pathfinder has a ton of available upgrades such as the 9-inch infotainment system and a 10.8-inch head-up display that projects onto the windshield.

Performance

The 2022 Pathfinder is powered by a 3.5L V6 engine that produces 284 horsepower and 259 lb-ft of torque. A new nine-speed automatic transmission replaces the continuously variable automatic transmission in the latest model. Front-wheel drive remains the default setup, but an all-wheel-drive system with SEVEN different drive modes (standard, sport, eco, snow, mud/rut, and tow). The 2022 Pathfinder offers a maximum towing capacity of up to 6,000 pounds as well.
